A journey of taste.
Demerara is a fruity, sweet-spiced sugar with large glistening, glassy amber crystals delivering a distinctive textural crunch.
The Guyanese journey is inspired by the start of cultivation in the seventeenth century on the banks of a river that became known as the River Demerara. Ever since these times the sugar cane fields have proliferated across what is now modern day Guyana.
